Experienced care for the things that matter most

Leaving your home and animals in someone else’s care is a significant decision.

You need more than someone who will simply be present. You need people who will understand the routine, notice when something changes, communicate sensibly and treat your home as a place of real value.

  • ✅ Consistency — animals remain in familiar surroundings and follow their normal routines.
  • 🏡 Responsibility — your home is actively cared for rather than merely occupied.
  • 💬 Communication — you receive useful updates in the rhythm agreed before you leave.
  • 🔒 Discretion — your home, location and personal information are treated privately.

We are particularly well suited to longer assignments and homes where experience, continuity and good judgement matter.

Live-in care shaped around your home

🏡 House and property care

We provide a steady, lived-in presence while you are away.

That can include normal household oversight, keeping the home clean and orderly, monitoring agreed property systems, receiving authorised maintenance visits and noticing small issues before they become larger ones.

We respect household boundaries and follow your instructions carefully.

🐾 Pet and animal care

We maintain the routines your animals already know, including feeding, exercise, companionship, cleaning and owner-directed care.

  • Dogs and cats
  • Horses and stable routines
  • Reptiles, poultry and fish
  • Multi-animal households
  • Larger, multi-species environments

Where medication or additional monitoring is required, expectations must be agreed clearly in advance and follow owner instructions and veterinary guidance.

🗓️ Long-term and higher-responsibility assignments

Longer stays benefit from consistency. Once routines are established, animals settle, communication becomes predictable and the home benefits from the same people being present throughout the assignment.

We are comfortable discussing multi-month stays, rural properties, horses, several animals and homes requiring more active day-to-day oversight.

Experience that can be verified

Repeat country-property assignment

We completed several stays, including multi-month periods, at a Lincolnshire cottage set within a deer park.

Responsibilities included the daily care of a dog, cat, two horses and poultry, together with winter routines and ongoing care of a remote countryside home.

The homeowner extended the original assignment and invited us to return—one of the clearest signs of trust a homeowner can give.

Dogs, horses and stable care

At a country home near Weston-super-Mare, we cared for three dogs, two horses and fish.

The assignment included daily animal routines, stable and yard care and maintaining the home to a high standard. The homeowner specifically praised the condition of the stables, tack room and house on their return.

Completed multi-species assignment in Egypt

We completed a two-month assignment involving five dogs, more than twenty cats, three tortoises and seven camels.

The scale of the routine required organisation, calm handling, careful observation and consistent daily care across several species.

Why homeowners choose us

💻 We are genuinely present

Our work is location-independent, allowing us to organise our days around the home and animals rather than leaving for a conventional workplace.

This is particularly valuable for longer assignments, anxious animals and homes that benefit from a reliable daily presence.

🤝 We work well as a team

Lindsey, Rob and Archie bring different strengths and share responsibilities according to the needs of each assignment.

This creates continuity during longer stays and gives us greater capacity for households with several animals or more involved routines.

Archie is also an experienced sitter in his own right and now undertakes paid assignments independently.

🔧 We take practical care of the home

We are comfortable with the everyday realities of living in and caring for someone else’s property.

That means maintaining good standards, handling ordinary issues sensibly and contacting the homeowner or an authorised professional when something requires further attention.

💬 We communicate without creating noise

Some homeowners prefer frequent photographs and short updates. Others want a weekly summary or to hear from us only when something needs attention.

We agree the communication rhythm before the assignment and follow it consistently.

What homeowners have said

“They really are five-star house sitters. The dogs adored them, the horses greeted them, the house was clean and tidy, and the tack room and stables were immaculate.”
